As a video marketing business owner, I use WebWave to create and manage my company's website. I switched to WebWave from Wix because I found WebWave's interface to be more user-friendly and the load times to be faster.
WebWave addresses the business problem of creating a professional-looking website without coding knowledge. As a video marketing business owner, it's essential to have a visually appealing website that showcases my services and previous work. WebWave's customizable templates and drag-and-drop features allow me to create a website that meets my needs without having to hire a web developer.
The scope of my use case is focused on creating a website to showcase my business and services. I use WebWave's hosting services and content management system to manage website content and keep it up-to-date with my latest work and services. Additionally, I've used WebWave's SEO tools to optimize my website for search engines, which has helped increase my online visibility and attract more clients.
Overall, WebWave has been a valuable tool for my video marketing business by providing an easy-to-use solution for creating and managing my website. It has helped me save time and money by avoiding the need to hire a web developer while still allowing me to have a professional-looking website.
  • Customizable templates: WebWave offers a variety of pre-designed templates that can be customized to fit your needs. The templates are modern, visually appealing, and cover a wide range of industries and purposes. Users can easily change the layout, fonts, colors, and images to match their branding and style.
  • Drag-and-drop interface: WebWave's drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to create a website without any coding knowledge. Users can add and arrange elements such as text, images, buttons, and videos by simply dragging them to the desired location on the page.
  • Responsive design: WebWave's templates are designed to be mobile-friendly and responsive, which means they adapt to different screen sizes and devices. This is important because a growing number of users are browsing websites on mobile devices, and having a website that is optimized for mobile devices can improve user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Steep learning curve: even though I'm an advanced Wix user with some knowledge in photoshop (WebWave's editing flow resembles it) it may take some time to take over and do exactly what you intend to.
  • Limited native app integrations: WebWave currently has limited app integrations compared to other website builders. Yes, you can add a custom code but it's too cumbersome to pull off in comparison to Wix.
  • To WebWave's defense - the good documentation makes it easier.
Well suited:
Small businesses and entrepreneurs: WebWave is an excellent option for small businesses and entrepreneurs who need a professional-looking website without spending a lot of time and money. It's easy to use, customizable, and offers fast load times and responsive design.

Less appropriate:
Large e-commerce websites: If you're looking to create a large e-commerce website with a vast number of products and advanced features, WebWave may not be the best option. Its e-commerce functionality is limited compared to other website builders, and it may not be able to accommodate the needs of a large-scale online store.

Also, if you need much coding, you would rather have it with something that is wordpress-based.

My first contact with WebWave was 10y ago, as free plan subscriber. Then migrated to premium plan and Im still using it - instead of WordPress or Wix. I need a simple website builder but with power to change HTML/JS/CSS when needed. It should be simple and fast. WP was lack of it (before Gutenberg era), Wix was too simple then. Only WebWave meet my expectations.
  • 1st class WYSIWYG - but with code editor when you need it
  • great support (human and docs)
  • great features for agency (billing your customers)
  • well SEO optimized templates code and a lot of integrations with 3rd party apps
  • ecommerce support (you can run your own e-commerce store)
  • mailbox (email) support included
  • more templates for websites categorized by business type
  • more ecommerce functionalities (subscription support, more payment gateways, shipping support)
If you run a company website that needs a simple ecommerce store (simple does not mean ugly or just for 10 products) it should be your first choice. Even if you have no idea about HTML coding or ecommerce workflows. It will fit to your needs. So 95% of companies should use this instead of WP or Wix.
But if you need a complicated website, that need an API "hard-coded" integration, especially with external systems - I would prefer Wordpress/Joomla.

I'm so glad I recently discovered WebWave. It is an amazing website-building platform geared toward designers and creators who enjoy the simplicity of a WYSIWYG editor but with granular control over element placement, layering, and properties. It’s also one of the few builders that include an email address if you subscribe to their Pro plan, as well as provides options for you to export a site and host it elsewhere. Blog and lightweight e-commerce are also included. While the template library is smallish, what is included looks great. Since WebWave is more akin to Photoshop than Wix, the uninitiated should take advantage of building their first few projects from templates to learn the ins and outs. There is a learning curve with this system, but once you get the hang of freehand design, the sky is the limit. It is immensely helpful that WebWave is an established product, so you can count on finding answers in the company’s robust knowledge base, very responsive tech support, and in their active Facebook community.
  • Place elements anywhere on a page
  • Granular control of settings and animations using layers
  • Export your creations and host elsewhere if you choose
  • Site speed is a little sluggish
  • UI is initially overwhelming
  • User must manually adjust layout settings to achieve true responsive design
The WYSIWYG web builder marketspace is saturated, but there are not many solutions out there that eschew table-based design in favor of letting creators build sites where anything goes wherever you want. You’ll likely want to skip this product if you need a plug-and-play solution where everything is automatically responsively. However, if you have an eye for design, love creative control, and like to sweat the details until you have made the perfect website, WebWave is a must buy.

We use this to build and host websites. The platform is a good value, the sites look nice, the sites are responsive, the hosting is stable, and the company seems to do a good job of growing, improving, providing support, hearing user feedback, delivering on core needs, and containing key features. The biggest improvement I think is needed is making the platform a little more intuitive because when I need to train new staff on how to build sites, there seems to be a bit of a learning curve as compared to similar sites. That said, I am a fan of WebWave and suggest it.
  • Stable
  • Good features
  • Good value
  • Nice looking sites
  • User interface more intuitive
  • Easier options for quick site generation
Somebody needing a good combination of value, dependability, and core features is a good use case for a team that has some technical ability.

If a team is very new or green in site building or has highly specific format requirements on how a site should look, then this might be less appropriate.

As a 100% remote, online business, I entrust WebWave to create and manage my website, which is the most important element of my online presence. Given that I'm not a web developer, I don't have any use for WebWave's extensive agency features. I'm primarily concerned with being able to create/edit web pages and blog posts, whilst also needing the flexibility of being able to add an online store to my website in the future. As someone without any background in web design, I have struggled with previous low/no-code solutions in the past (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, and SiteJet, etc.). WebWave has completely eliminated these issues because it enables me to approach web design in the same manner as design tools such as: Figma, Affinity Designer, Illustrator, and Photoshop, etc. As a result, WebWave's builder is easily the most intuitive that I've had the pleasure of using. The layer-based approach feels a lot more instinctive than the grid-based approach of other platforms, thereby allowing me to realise my designs more efficiently and effectively. In truth, I've never found it easier to create responsive web pages. Some of my favourite features include:
  • Quickly being able to create animations and interactive elements.
  • Easily being able to design and launch responsive landing/web pages, blog posts, forms, and popups.
  • Effortlessly add business elements (online store, multiple payment gateways, and email) to my web page.
Most exciting of all is the fact that WebWave is still in the early stages of its development. That so many well-thought out features have already been launched bodes well for the future of this platform. I'm really happy that I discovered WebWave, as it has already benefitted my life as a remote business owner.
  • WebWave's site builder is the platform's truly innovative feature. I've never come across another service that deploys a layer-based approach in web design, as most of them usually deploy a grid-based system. This is an incredible alteration that ensures WebWave behaves much like a traditional graphic design tool, thereby resulting in an experience that is a lot more intuitive and instinctive. I believe this has the potential to radically change the way people approach no-code web design.
  • WebWave provides automatic, daily backups and a free SSL certificate for every website. This results in excellent security.
  • WebWave's support team is first-class! I had some teething-issues in the beginning, but the support team quickly got me back on track.
  • WebWave's community/forum is an excellent place to vote and request new features. This proves the development team is committed to making WebWave better by listening to their users.
  • I would like to see more scroll-based animations and interactive features to rival Webflow. WebWave is well-equipped in this area, but I believe there is room for expansion. Animation and interactivity is going to feature more heavily as web-design evolves so constant reinvention is needed to stay on the cutting edge.
  • I would like to see more analytical and conversion rate optimisation tools added directly into WebWave, such as: Heatmaps, Site Replay, Conversion Funnels, and Sales Performance.
  • Ability to turn your website into an app for the Apple and Google stores.
If you need a website for your business, WebWave excels. If you are an agency looking to create and host websites for your clients, WebWave excels. I cannot think of an area where WebWave falls short. It is, therefore, easy to recommend it to anyone looking to establish an online presence.

Being a web developer for the last 20+ years and I am still excited about this technology and it’s potential for improving people’s lives, there are many gaps which people like me identify in the current technology such as:

  • Why do we need to buy multiple pieces of hosting, apps, plugins, services and fit it together for a website to run?
  • Why should new people need to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build websites and apps?
  • Why aren’t modern web development languages able to provide them with the full capabilities they need?
  • And (as of today’s available technology) why would I need sections, containers and columns to mimic a Photoshop design?! are not we start essentially with sketch and move to design with Figma or Photoshop and similar apps to visualize the design before moving to development?

With all these points and by being eager to cut-down website development steps, I believe WebWave solves this issue by introducing a new concept in the market, sketch, design and you’re good to go.

Is it good enough? Yes 100%, and I am happy with the company direction & the speed of development since I purchased the license.

Good Luck WebWave
  • Cut-down development phase
  • Intuitive Web App Interface
  • All-In-One Solution
  • Little dynamic content (Blog, E-Commerce) but enough for small and medium size companies
  • Excellent app support
  • Excellent development speed
  • Secure and long life company
  • Website speed
  • Dynamic content
  • More design tool
Creating any website in any niche, it works very well and even their website is built using WebWave. Example: Creating a Saloon website containing Home, Services, About, Contact-Us, Gallery and embedding booking solution like Calendly, followed by some basic e-commerce packages with direct PayPal or Stripe payment.

I love these tools mainly because of the ease to use and the variety of features added very quickly. it helps me make websites for my clients especially the ones who want a quick solution so they can start selling or blogging. The ability to Blog has e-commerce and SEO-friendly features making for a very smooth experience with this tool. Thank to the different types of templates this would be the best tool to go to when you are trying to start to make a website and give a few quick options to the clients before starting the building process.
  • Blogging
  • E commerce
  • Drag and drop
  • Changes and branding
  • More integrations with other tools as this is still a new SAAS
This is a good option for someone who wants to build a website in a very quick manner even a few days and personalize it without the need to know how to code as you have a lot of options to make eCommerce blogs and CV websites. But this could be limited to what integrations they have in case you want to make a complicated website like with booking and linked information for hotels for example or so.

I ran early tests on the platform. Here's the short version. There are numerous nitty-gritty alternatives that can also be cleaned up. If you only need a simple store or lead page builder, this may be a better option. This is preferable to webstarts, in my opinion.
  • It's easy to go to the market, for simple, effective landing pages
  • Easy deployment of lead generation websites
  • Drag and drop builder
  • Easy simple store
  • Even if the page is modified and saved, the published site does not see the changes. It took up to an hour for the changes to take effect.
  • There is no integration of the Google rich schema settings.
  • Loading time is not as fast as many competitors—Gtmetrix performance rating is a maximum of 81 percent, although Google PageSpeed mobile (56 percent) and desktop (56 percent) are faster (91 percent ). Checked with a ready-made theme.
  • The WebWave website IP addresses have been blacklisted for malware. Malwarebytes frequently prevents the loading editor or live test pages. This could be because the backend framework IPs were previously utilized someplace, affecting WebWave in general.
  • Only payment gateway for the store settings is Stripe, which is not available in many countries.
  • Manual VAT/Tax options in the shipping/store page-single/fixed one tax type only.
My recommendation is a 7 out of 10 ( 3 out of 5 stars). There is plenty of space for growth and development. Speed and cache need to be much improved. They will have to work hard to improve usability as well. There are numerous nitty-gritty alternatives that can also be cleaned up. If you only need a simple store or lead page builder, this may be a better option. This is preferable to webstarts in my opinion.

This is a perfect product for clients, even though I know how to create websites from 0, this is a super complete option—easy to deploy and cheaper than other options, and I have used a lot of website builders. But the ones that allow drag and drop doesn't meet the advanced requirements as the one completely built for me. But this option is the most intuitive and complete for an excellent price and also the offer fríendly prices for agencies, so that's an extra point. Everything without complications.
  • animations
  • seo
  • drag and drop
  • wizard feature
  • More integrations
It's well suited for complete websites but fits perfectly for landing pages and when you need to hire designers but not developers. This tool helps to get done projects very easily for eCommerce stores for clients that prefer to manage a subscription instead of the whole web development. Its not that well suited for people that require very specific functions that may require plugins.

I needed a quick and easy way to get a website online. I help small non-profits or mom/pop shops. Typically they do not have anyone with a web background. WebWave makes it easy to get up and running and easy to maintain. The system is a very easy-to-use drag and drop builder with pretty standard design elements. Since it is cloud-based you can work on a site design from anywhere on any device. There are tools to easily build forms, shopping carts, portfolios, etc. The system is easy enough for a casual user but has some advanced control that more experienced designers will appreciate. I was able to get the first site up in 30 minutes
  • Easy drag an drop web builder
  • Easy form and basic shopping cart builder
  • Decent templates available
  • More advanced design options for more experienced designers
  • More shopping cart options/features
  • More payment options
  • Work on the UI backend
This is a user-friendly cloud-based website builder. A developer can set up the site and coach the user to maintain it. For small a small business, you can get an online presence up quickly and still have forms and basic e-commerce functions. The pricing is very attractive right now being comparable to or less than other systems out right now.

We use WebWave to create smaller websites for people. With great designs and easy to an understanding editor we feel confident in handing over the website to people that feel confident in doing updates themselves. The way it is laid out and the options are intuitive to people used to other desktop-based programs. Setting up a site from scratch is super easy as well. There is nothing to install, nothing to update. You can get a lot done in a short amount of time. With drag and drop for all parts of the site. This is a great tool for people wanting an easy-to-build professional-looking website.
  • Drag and drop builder is great
  • Lots of good looking templates to choose from
  • Lots of options for every element on the page
  • Able to change between pages easily
  • More payment options for the online store function
  • A simple mode with more guiding for complete beginners
  • Being able to setup a membership website
WebWave is suited for anyone that wants to build their own website. But doesn't want or need to know about website hosting, installing things, etc. WebWave gives them a great-looking website while giving lots of options and easily being able to change the content. All while doing it at a pricing level that is better than other options out there.

Unmatched to other platforms like a wiz, Squarespace, and so many others! I’ve loved every moment of building and it’s making our jobs a lot easier to turn out projects quicker! We also love the customer service. It’s hard these days getting stellar service but their team is also unmatched by the Fortune 500 companies.
  • Layout and ease of use
  • Customer support
  • Customization options
  • Masonry galleries need working on (slightly)
As mentioned before their support and the ability to customize as much as you can. It’s unmatched to most if not all platforms we’ve used in the past.

I have tested the product it seems good. We haven't completed shifting our website here yet. But What I know is the added functionality of posting blogs is an added bonus for me. In my previous website builder, they didn't give me a CMS but here they are giving it got free.
  • Drag and Drop is very good.
  • CMS is added into the plan so I don't have to pay extra.
  • They also have online payment system for eCommerce.
  • The UI can be more robust. It seems little boring.
The sign-up process was very good and light. The one thing I like about the editor (website edition) is how it looks. It gives the vibe of pro features similar to web flow but has a better robust drag and drop features. With a few clicks, I can enlarge the elements.

Using WebWave for building websites for our clients. The whole team uses it for every part of the process like designers - design the layout, copywriters - write the copy of the website, and Seo team and IT for various tasks, even clients use it if they want to make minor changes to the website.
The problems that WebWave solves are:
Saves time: cause it's faster than other ways of building websites (though you need time to invest in learning curve)
Lots of features depending on other similar tools.
No coding skills.

We use various tools for building client websites, and our most recent gem is WebWave! It is simple to use and our new recruits and outsourced team members found it easy to learn. So depending on the clients needs, our first choice is WebWave. It's also quite flexible and templates to get the ball rolling are pretty good too. Even our established designers are turning to WebWave for the simple jobs, so that saves them time and we get client design projects completed faster.

I am an artist, art educator, and artist coach. For the past 20 years, I have been advising other artists how to develop, market, and sell their work. Creating a professional website and an online store is a central element in this process.

In my opinion, WebWave is an excellent tool for creating professional websites. The interface is very similar to Photoshop, so given the fact that most artists and designers have some experience using Photoshop, WebWave is very intuitive to use.
  • A UI that is similar to Photoshop--layers, etc.
  • Not grid-based, so it gives the designer open possibilities
  • Lots of options to make the website dynamic--animations , etc.
  • Transparency options
  • E-commerce/store options could be expanded on
  • More payment options
Whether for a single site creator or an agency, I think that WebWave is an excellent tool. I teach a university course for artists on how to market and sell your work online, and I recommend WebWave to my students. It is the perfect tool for creatives, since it allows you to have your creative style reflected through your website design, rather than using a template-based design.

I've been using a couple of other web builders for the past 5 years. I
recently came across WebWave on appsumo and found it offers more design options and flexibility when compared to
the other builders. Some of the design tools like the option to place logos, and graphics in elements at specific positions are my favorite. However, support materials need to be provided for instructions on some things.
  • Easily add graphics to my sites.
  • It offers layering of elements similar to Photoshop, enabling more creative design.
  • Lots of functions.
  • Looks professional.
  • Add more payment options in the case of the store.
WebWave is great for quickly building professional looking websites.

I am working on my website to improve the promotion of our team (musical artists) and get new places to play. I have no web development experience so Webwave helped me a lot. It's really easy to use and also looks professional. I can find everything in there.

  • Looks professional
  • Lots of functions
  • Payment options

I run a web designing business. I have been using a couple of other web builders for the past 3 years. I recently came across WebWave and found it offers more design options and flexibility as compared to the other web builders. Some of the design tools like the option to create transparency in elements, the ability to place logos, graphics, and elements at specific positions are a real boon. It also offers an email solution along with its premium plan, but I have not tried it out yet. However, support materials need to be provided for instructions on some things.
  • Placement of graphics, logos, elements at specific locations on the page.
  • Ability to easily tweak the mobile versions to make them more user-friendly.
  • Transparency option for elements.
  • It offers layering of elements similar to Photoshop, enabling more creative design.
  • It would be great if the shopping cart can offer a couple of product variations.
  • Support materials/videos for instructions like pasting code, changing [the] name of the temporary URL, etc.
WebWave is suitable to make a website for corporate, professionals, artists, etc. If the shopping cart can be worked on to offer a few product variations, it can be used for more online sellers. It is also good for blogs by creative professionals.

WebWave is the best website builder I've used. Very easy to use, very intuitive. I use this tool every day because there are always some fixes to my clients' websites, and every time I do it on this website builder, I am happy. I have the impression that this tool was made especially for me.
  • Very friendly page layout and configuration of all elements
  • All collected so that I do not have to search for a long time to add or change the selected item
  • The only thing I would change is to add more payment options in the case of the store (it is about plug-ins). PayPal and cryptocurrency would also be useful.
I have a menu set up with all the editing tools on the right and the paste items on the left side of the screen. Everything at hand, I do not need to look. There is a very clear tutorial and helpful videos.

I like WebWave because it's like creating your own website in Photoshop. This website builder provides a list of advanced graphic features like Layer List, or Pixel perfect. So I made a great design for our blog websites and articles - this makes my blog special. These features helped me very much with how my website and articles look on mobile. It provides total control.
Also, I appreciate the SEO features. I accessed the meta-tags, Head section even with the free subscription. When I launched our blog it was totally ready.
WebWave is a great solution for SEO, brand awareness and conversion improvement.
  • Graphic features.
  • SEO features.
  • Website security.
  • Lack of horizontal Masonry Gallery.
Well suited if you need to create a website that will differentiate you.
